Side effects

Joshua has suddenly started getting side effects - hoorendous insomnia & paranoia and on friday just wanted to be dead - anyone else had this???

He's on Medikinet
We are going to see CAMHS tomorrow and might be going back to Equasym 2 or 3 times a day
Joshua hates having to take them at school but we can't go on with him calling out every 10 minutes most of the night to make sure we are still there or with him hiding in the corner wishing he was dead

jacks on medikinet as well ,

brandon hasnt been on that medication, he is on equsaym XL risperdal and melatonin, plus epilim.
Been very lucky with no side effects

wendy jacsk also on eqsayum in the after , and meltonin in the evening

how do you find jack on the melatonin?

Joshua has melatonin too and it only works when he doesn't have anything else!
Equasym seems to be giving him the same side effects as Medikinet - think we might have to have him totally unmedicated - I think I'll go mad

when did joshua got on medikinet , and equsaym ,
jack was put on then in oct 08 ,
review again next month every 8 weeks for us

im going on wednesday to CAMHS for a medication review, things aint right so im hoping they can come up with something.

I find the melatonin dont work for brandon, so this is something we are going to be talking about on wednesday. xx

he takes 2 tablets

we have refused to have jack put on eplim , because not enough test done on him for epilspy ,
and we wanted to make sure , he was epilectic , and more fits to be sure , as not seen , on paperwork or gratfs to show ,
only meds word so wasn,t happy ,
jacks had no more fits for over a year now

Looks unlikely he'll go on Straterra as it can cause heart problems in combination with his asthma medication!
Don't know what to do next as still getting side effects on Equasym - had a big downer at school on Friday - they were worried about him
