Severe Depression

I do not have adhd or any other diagnosis, but i do suffer severly with depression. I think some of this is probably a knock on effect from Catherine's behaviour and my inability to cope. Also i have had a lot happen in my family life over the past 18 months which has affected the whole family.

how supportive are your family to you ,

mostly supportive, but to be honest so much has happened in the past 18 months to 2 years.

I suppose if i list it all it makes it easier to understand

First i lost a baby at 20 weeks preg
Then my sister lost her little girl at 4 months old to heart problems
My grandfather passed away soon after that
A very close family friend and my dd's godfather passed very suddenly
I got sterilised in August
Then my other grandfather was found dead in his garage.
My husbands uncle passed away just before christmas. My mum had a heart attack before christmas
I quit my job because of Catherine having other problems and needing time off school
I have an uncle who has only weeks to live

Positive news, Catherine is being assessed and i have just found a new job working on nights

just take 1 day at a time ,
and remember to think as yourself as well as the others ,
and count to 10 , when it gets tough ,

I usually find 20 is better Life is getting better each day. I try to remain positive, i have to for catherines sake.

i suffer with depression as well, like you have had loads going on in my life, now have to start going to see a councillor that starts next week.

It can be very hard at times, and understand how you feel.

hi ladies ive suffered severe depression and anxiety for 10 years now i feel has a lot to do with my oldest well i know it has she has had a rough few years special needs no confidence being sexually abused the list goes on and my arthritis is much worse now so i know how u all feel and im here for each and every one of you we do also have a support room on site should you want to post there if you feel u need some privacy xx
