Has anyone got a diagnosis of ADHD as an adult?

Im thinking of getting my own ADHD diagnosis. After spending 18 months on the fight to get Danielles diagnosis & receiving unofficial ones myself by 2 experts im considering going for my own. Perhaps the medication will help me focus & be a bit more a part of things. I just dread the time it will take & wonder if its a fight worth taking on. Be interested if anyone knows of any adults who got late diagnosis of ADHD or got one themselves.
