My son's behavior is out of control. He sleeps at 11pm-6am. He does headstands on sofa's and jumps from chair to chair, he cuts wires, clothes, paper, he trashes his room when supposed to be tidying it, he bangs, stamps, shouts when playing. He has no sense of danger as he sits up at his open window, he wont look before crossing the road. He fights constantly with his sister and teases her. He is picky with his food and wont eat hot dinners. All that and more from 6am. Refuses to get dressed in morning or go to bed at night. But if you put him on a games console, hes as good as gold

all of that was my jack before he went on meds in october 08

I just hope i dont have to wait to long to see the specialist. It was about 2 weeks ago when we saw the doctor and she said she will refer us

we got told in 04 , somethink , didn,t feel right with jack ,
hell from them till oct08 when on meds ect

mickellwife your son sounds just like mine, he has ADHA he is on medication, thes meds seem to work for him for a while and then they just faze out.

Sounds just like my son Josh, I have been fighting for 3 years for someone to listen to me, finally they are taking note. We also have the added joy of night wetting which can be part of it. He finds it really embarrasing that he still wets the bed at 7 1/2 years old. We have just had pull up pants prescribed on the NHS for him as they have finally realised it's not just his lazyness or drinking too much.
Everything takes so long though, been waiting 4 months for a follow up appointment for test results! Sleep

I am now 21 months down the line in my quest to get Danielle her official diagnosis of ADHD.
The last conversation I had with the play worker it seemed to me like she was trying to blame D's behavioural issues on the break up of my marriage. (Which actually happened after the ADHD diagnosis process started) Next thing is I have another appointment with the play worker & the ADHD specialist in 2 1/2 weeks time. I could so do without all this right now. Sad

babe , be strong , they need to see u stressed , on a low alsdo ,
and looking bad ,

and saying u can,t take no more , and u can,t cope ,

its only then , when they start listening to u
u are a good mum , so just stay calm , and carrying on for danielle
and at the end of the tunnel u will succseed
