Hi all my name is

.......Sarah, i am 33 and married to Richard 49. We have a 5 year old called Catherine who is 6 in May. We are unsure of any diagnosis for Catherine yet, but she is seeing the childrens mental health worker on the 29th January. It is suspected that she has ADHD or similar. Although i am dubious, however she is definately hyper lol.

I also work with children on the SEN register in a main stream secondary school, so am aware of some aspects Special Needs

Nice to meet you Sarah. Im Tracy, im 35 & been on my own with my 2 little girls Melissa 9 & Danielle 7 for just over a year now. We are 18 months in with getting an official diagnosis of ADHD for D. She is still classed as having the hyperactive element because she wriggles almost constantly, but is more inattentive than hyperactive. Are you having much support from the school in getting a diagnosis or during lessons? Im finding it a real struggle getting any help for Danielle, I suppose it varies from school to school though so hopefully you are luckier.

we have our first visit next Thursday

write everythink ge does and says , from now till the morning as your appointment , and take it with u to show them at cahms
