we notices when jack was 6 he had behaviour problems

Diaganosed with severe asthma at 20 months
Eczema after first lot of injections
Multiple food allergies ... can't even remember when

Ive known from birth that Danielle was different. She would sit in her car seat & wriggle constantly. Id never seen a baby do that before. She proved to be highly intelligent & started nursery the day after her 2nd birthday. She went to 2 nurseries & started school. I waited for a so called knowledgeable professional to say something to me but it never happened. I assumed that as nobody said anything I must be being paranoid & nothing was wrong. In year 1 Danielles behaviour was clearly becoming more & more of a problem. At this point I asked her then teacher "At what point will school start to consider other possibilities" she said "The next teacher will do it "The next teacher was a NQT & I wasnt prepared to let D's education suffer any further so I went to the GP & set the wheels in motion myself.

We saw someone at CAMHS within 3 months & within 20 minutes the lady said "Its obvious she has ADHD & will be fine with medication" Getting the official diagnosis has proved harder though. They were not sure if it was just severe ADHD or Aspergers or something also. The Aspergers has been ruled out now & we are continuing to wait for that elusive diagnosis.

School have proved completely useless in every possible way & wont do anything until we get that official diagnosis, no matter how much agravation it is for everyone. Its so frustrating!!!!!! They were supposed to be testing D for Dyslexia before the summer but i dont think its been done yet. Id change schools but it could be worse.

he hate his year 1 teacher , been male , and couldn,t cope with him

Thats suprising, you would think a male teacher would be better at managing challenging behaviour. (Does that sound sexist?)

alicias 18 months now were sure theres something along the special needs line might be wrong but shes worse then the other 2 were at her age hopefully the terrible 2s early i dunno wont sit still head butts the wall our wooden floor throws her self around wont settlethrows her food maybe have to wait n see hugs everyone xx

i new ryan was differnt when he was 3 .
so he was tested for autism .
so hes got slow development in speach ./and slow with potty training / very fussy with food he smells a lot of foods and licks things .

raya , is 20 months old , and she throws herself , and headbutts people and floors and walls , ect ,

shes very hard work for laurah some times ,

Catherine is 5 6 in May. I noticed last year how hyper Catherine was and how much she seeked attention and try any way possible to get it. We have no diagnosis for Cathy but if it is adhd it is mild and probably controllable without medication if we are persistent. This is very new for us and have support from the childrens mental health team now.

I TOO NOTICED FROM A BABY THAT THEIR WAS SOMETHING VERY DIFFERENT WITH MY SON , HE COULD NEVER SETTLE OR SLEEP ,HE WAS UP ROUGHLY 17 TIMES A NIGHT OR MORE !! AND NEVER WAS CONTENT WITH ANY TOYS FOR VERY LONG ALWAYS CRYING AND THEN AT 10 MONTHS OLD HE HAD HIS FIRST EPILEPTIC FIT ,WHICH AT THE TIME THEY RELATED IT TO TEMPERATURE (FEBRILE CONVULSIONS ).HIS SPEECH WAS DELAYED AND WALKING AND BY THE AGE OF TWO WAS SO HYPER ACTIVE ,HE SPENT MOST OF HIS TIME UPSIDE DOWN ON THE FURNITURE ,REPEATING AND REPEATING HIS ACTIONS . BY THIS TIME I HAD APPROACHED A HEALTH VISITOR BUT SHE PUT IT DOWN TOO FOOD COLOURINGS , SO EVERYTHING WITH COLOUR FACTOR WAS CUT OUT OF HIS DIET ,EVEN TO THIS DAY . WE CONTINUED LIKE THIS FOR YEARS , WHERE HIS SEIZURES BECAME WORSE AND WHEN HE WENT TO NURSERY I WAS APPROACHED WITH THE PROBLEM OF LEARNING DIFFICULTIES . HE HAD NO FEAR OF DANGER AND ON MANY TIMES I FOUND HIM HANGING OUT WINDOWS LAUGHING AND WAVING TO PEOPLE OUTSIDE MY HOUSE , HE HAD TO BE OF COURSE CONSTANTLY SUPERVISED AND BEHAVIOUR ISSUES GOT WORSE AT THIS TIME ROUGHLY AT 5 YEARS OLD . HE FOUND REMAINING IN A SIT AND WATCHING TV VERY HARD WITH POOR CONSENTRATION AND CO ORDINATION AND WAS ALWAYS ON THE GO FIDDLING WITH OBJECTS LIKE DOOR HANDLES , WHICH I NOW MAKE SURE THE SETTEE IS NO WHERE NEAR A HANDLE LOL . WE MANAGED TO GET THROUGH JUNIOR SCHOOL AND THEN SECONDARY SCHOOL BEGAN ,WHICH MADE HIM MORE FRUSTRATED , BUT I NEVER GIVE UP AND I FOUGHT AND FOUGHT FOR HIM TO BE SEEN BY CFCS ,WHERE FINALLY LAST YEAR IN AUGUST HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH ADHD AT THE AGE OF 14 , IT WAS ALONG TIME ,BUT AREAS HAVE IMPROVED WITH MEDICATION AND I HAVE JUST BEEN INFORMED THIS WEEK HE IS NOW GOING TO GET MORE SUPPORT !!THE MEDICATION IS STILL BEING IN CREASED AND QUITE POSSIBLY CHANGED SOON DUE TO HIS GROWTH RATE AS HE IS OVER 6FT . BUT HE IS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND VERY SPECIAL AND TRYS SO HARD ....AND IM A FIGHTER LOL XXXXX HOPE I DIDNT GO ON TO MUCH IM IN THE MOOD TO CHATTER LOL XXX

jason cannt cope with any male teachers even to this day , most of the problems that occur at school are related to male teachers !!!

jacks head master , and other learning assistant are males , they are the only 2 who have worked to help jack ,

Im getting really sick of the constant delays. D's Play Worker appointment still hasnt been re arranged & its almost a month since the first one was cancelled. School are completely useless. Id move her but it could be jumping out of the frying pan & into the fire. Ive held on hoping that things will be different once she has her diagnosis. Children with diagnosis seem to do ok there, its just the ones without that are left to run riot & disrupt things for all. But then thats no good either is it? if she will be disrupted by other kids even if she does eventually get her own support. There are a huge number of special needs children in that school, diagnosed & undiagnosed. (Especially in d's year group) Perhaps moving somewhere with less so they have more time for D is a sensible option. Its so difficult to know what to do. They seem to be leaving our school in droves at the moment. I think its the new head teacher (who unfortunately is our SENCO & completely useless) Perhaps parents are pulling their kids out because they are disrupted in class? Who knows. Could so do without all this.

I noticed with brandon when he was around bout 18 months that i thought he had some kind of special needs.

Brandon has had his hearing problem since he was 6 months old.

I have known that my son has had problems since he was 4. he is now 7 1/2. He is super hyper, he wakes at 7 every morning and doesn't go to sleep till at least 10.30. He is in and out of bed getting books and toys. He now listens to audio books on his ipod and that has helped loads. He still wets the bed as he is in such a deep sleep he can't wake for the toilet.
He wrecks his room on a regular basis, every toy and book is thrown at the walls and door in frustration.
He was seen by CAMHS as they thought it was an emotional problem, it wasn't!! I then managed to get a referal to Ryegate Childrens centre where they said it's ADHD but have now gone quiet and I can't get a much needed appointment to get the proper diagnosis. They have been renovating and have turned off all phones and computers, very helpful!!
They didn't even listen when I told them he had described in some details how he was going to kill me!! That didn't warrent an appointment!

It's an absolute joke
